Stephen is the Founder and President of the Abundance Foundation, Chair of the Harvard Medical School Global Health & Service Advisory Council (Dr. Paul Farmer) and a board-certified emergency medicine physician.
Through his work, and in collaboration with Harvard and Partners In Health, he has aided in fights against the Ebola and cholera epidemics in Sierra Leone and Haiti, and created advanced medical training programs around the world. The Abundance Foundation focuses on arts, education, empowerment, and global health. Working with Project Zero at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, the Abundance Foundation develops innovative educational programs serving tens of thousands of students in over 60 countries and supports the empowerment of adolescent girls and programs to fight gender-based-violence.
