Laura Hutson Hunter is a writer, editor, and curator. She’s been the arts editor of the Nashville Scene for more than a decade, and she curates the sex-forward exhibition series Adult Contemporary, whose last presentation — Drawers: Provocative Drawings — was exhibited at OZ Arts. Her writing has appeared in publications like VICE, BookPage, and Art in America, and she’s written exhibition essays for artist Shannon Cartier Lucy and the Frist Art Museum. She graduated from New York University with the individualized major of Art History and Cultural Anthropology. Laura lives in Nashville, Tenn., with her husband and their daughter.
