Donna L. Roberts serves on the Executive Team of Cracker Barrel in the role of Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer. Since May 2020, she has been responsible for overall strategic leadership and management of the company’s HR functions including staffing and recruiting, training, talent and leadership development, compensation, benefits, payroll, HRIS, employee relations and employee experience. Her talented teams support Cracker Barrel’s amazing 75,000+ field employees from 658 stores across 44 states as they deliver on the company’s mission of Pleasing People to 200 million people every year.

Donna joined Cracker Barrel in April 2012 as Associate General Counsel, advising the company on all aspects of labor and employment law. She was promoted to Vice President and Deputy General Counsel in 2018, and then became Vice President of Human Resources in 2019. Since joining Cracker Barrel, she’s been a six-time winner of “Best of the Bar” as nominated and voted by her peers and awarded by the Nashville Business Journal.

Before coming to Cracker Barrel, Donna was a litigation partner at the regional law firm of Stites & Harbison, PLLC.

Donna received her undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and a J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law.

A lawyer by day, Stephen is a lifelong optimist, a certified Yacht Rock Captain, and a lover of people and bourbon. Together, they are raising two remarkable sons: Van (17), an avid golfer who is unfairly photogenic and Reed (14), who brings his boundless energy and intensity to basketball, football, round-the-clock workouts and maintaining the caloric intake of a bear before hibernation despite the fact that “there is never anything to eat!”
