August Bioservices

Jenn Adams is the CEO of August Bioservices, a private VC-backed contract development and manufacturing organization serving biopharmaceutical and biotech customers. Jenn relocated to Nashville in July, 2020 to lead and scale this company following its successful acquisition by Oak HC/FT, a Venture Capital firm based in Connecticut. 

Jenn has been serving in healthcare leadership roles for over 30 years. She has extensive experience leading, transforming, and driving growth in both Fortune 500 public, and private equity-backed companies. Jenn has deep domain expertise within the outsourced pharmaceutical services sector. Prior to assuming the role of CEO at August Bio, Jenn served as Executive in Residence at Oak HC/FT, and before that she was SVP & President for the Clinical Product Solutions business at AmerisourceBergen. 

Jenn spent her early career at Baxter Healthcare serving in many roles within several of Baxter’s businesses. 

Jenn holds a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

Mats Bjoerkman

CFO
August Bioservices

Mats has spent over 20 years in finance leadership roles. Most recently he served as Lead Business CFO for the $4.2B US Electrification Division of ABB, a Swiss engineering company in the Power and Automation technology business. Prior to this role, Mats held a variety of senior financial positions in the B2B Industrial, Utility & Chemical Industries. Mats holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in International Finance from Lund University in Lund, Sweden.
