Connie Richardson, creative director and co-founder of Nashville Fashion Week, will curate this live exploration of fashion photography, entitled “Eye of the Beholder: The Fashion Photographer’s Point of View.” Art in the form of fashion photography is almost always seen as a finished product, rather than an engaging, dynamic process. OZ’s TNT will invite the audience to see a new side to this glamorous art form.

Three local fashion photographers: Brett Warren, Michael Howard, and Fairlight Hubbard/Amy Phillips (EYE Management), will invite the audience into their camera lens to experience the process of a fashion photo-shoot. A lens, placed on the photographers’ camera, will be fed by video and projected onto a screen, allowing guests to see what the photographer sees. Each photographer will have the same set and props as they apply their own artistic voice to live models, creating something completely unique. Previous work by the photographers will be on exhibition at OZ Arts that evening.

Art, in the form of hair and makeup, will be applied by Melanie Shelley and her incredible staff at TRIM Legendary Beauty to two experienced AMAX Talent models. Nashville Arts Magazine will moderate a Q&A at the end of the show and will be featuring final images from the evening’s three shoots in their January 2015 issue.

Food Trucks on site will be: Crankee’s Pizzeria and Jeni’s Ice Cream
