An experienced and creative entrepreneur, brand strategist and skilled leader in startup and non profit organizations, Keith Meacham has developed an impressive resume of business and non-profit leadership successes in education, non-profit management, children's media and e-commerce. Her most recent venture, Reed Smythe & Company, an e-commerce shop she co-founded with her friend the writer and tastemaker, Julia Reed, collaborates with artists and artisans across the south and beyond to create beautiful, unexpected pieces for house and garden, all inspired by Julia's and Keith's travels, their Mississippi Delta childhoods and their love of creating warm and welcoming spaces.

Prior to founding Reed Smythe & Company, Keith was a founding team member of the children's media startup Homer. Homer, an educational app for iOS and web, teaches children to read and helps them develop crucial early childhood cognitive skills. Keith served as VP of Brand Marketing & Partnerships through multiple venture rounds over a period of 5 years, until Homer made a successful exit. The company recently closed a B Round of funding and employs more than 100 people.

Keith served in many capacities in public education before venturing into the start up space, including as Portfolio Director at the Fund for Public Schools in Mayor Mike Bloomberg's New York City Department of Education, as a Senior Advisor to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Carnegie Corporation's Shared Learning Consortium, and as the Executive Director of the Harlem Prep Charter School.

She lives in Nashville with her husband and three children.
