There are still spaces available for Monday, February 18. Register ASAP to secure your child’s spot.
What is an OZ School Day? Now in its fifth year, OZ School Days offer children the opportunity to learn from leading teaching artists in their field of movement, music, theatre, and visual art on four specific Mondays when Metro Nashville Public Schools are not in session.
This year, OZ Arts is thrilled to announce new partnerships with Youth Empowerment through Arts and Humanities (YEAH!) and Jessi Zazu, Inc., a collective effort in our mission to provide access to quality arts education for young people in the greater Nashville community.
With tremendous thanks to Centennial Performing Arts Studios, participation in OZ School Days is a wonderful way for your child to explore creative art forms. While all four Mondays are specifically chosen to correspond with days when MNPS is closed, students from any county, school, or program are welcome to attend. Absolutely no experience required. For only $60 your child can register for a single OZ School Day (8:30AM to 4PM).
Scholarships for those needing financial assistance are available thanks to the generous support from the Hunt Family Foundation. Our scholarship application is available for download and easy to complete.
For more information about financial assistance contact Director of Community Engagement Rosie Forrest at rosie@ozartsnashville.org
A note about inclement weather: with colder winter weather moving in this weekend, we will be watching the forecast to determine if any changes are necessary to the Monday schedule. We will email and post our decision either way on the OZ School Days webpage by 6PM. While policies prevent us from issuing refunds, should we cancel due to inclement weather, you are welcome to apply your registration fee to a future OZ School Day of your choosing.
